The Blackstone Parent Council is a group that meets monthly to discuss ideas for school improvement and plan avenues for family engagement throughout the year. This group fundraises, advocates for parent needs, and creates opportunities for families to be involved in the school. The group is governed by an executive committee of parents, voted on at the first meeting of the year. The executive committee sets agendas for meetings and represents parents in School Site Council Meetings – the meetings where decisions regarding budget and staffing are voted on.
Meetings of the Parent Council occur on the second Wednesday of every month at 8:30am in the Parent Center, room A31. Coffee is served! The following are the dates of the parent council meeting for School Year 2019-2020
